2025 Holiday Party and General Meeting
Where: The Kona Sailing Club / Honokohau Harbor
Festivities:
- Sail in the morning/early afternoon – For those brave enough – if you wanna get out on the water (and the swell isn’t breaking into the harbor) Join Joe for a sail! Send Joe an email if you want to sail and need a boat. commodore@konasailingclub.org
- Gift Exchange – You know all those unwanted gifts family members send you? Like soap on a string, socks and fondue kits…. Bring them to KSC and participate in the KSC RIGHT/LEFT Christmas story gift exchange.
- Live Band – Our own John Collins is back with OVERTIME! John’s band has agreed to entertain us free this year! Please support them by donating.
When:
- 10am – 2pm – Joe Scarola is hosting an open house and inviting everyone to go sailing for a few hours
- 3pm – 5pm – For those who want to volunteer some time, please help setting up Chairs, Tables, Food Stations and Decorations
- 5:00pm – 6:00pm – Cocktail hour! BYOB! Meet your fellow sailors, ocean enthusiasts and harbor bums
- 6:00pm 7:00pm – A Dinner so grand Posiedon himself will come lurching out of the sea to grab a plate! Along with our Annual Awards Ceremony – Spring Series, Fall Series, Wahine Regatta and Overall!
- 7:00pm – till the sun comes up – Dessert and Dancing Baby!

This year, due to budget constraints, your club members are putting on the feed! And a grand feed it will be!! Please thank your fellow KSC members for their service to our club.
