Important Update to Kawaihae Race 2019
Aloha racers and club members, there has been a change in the race plan for Kawaihae for this year, due to circumstances beyond the control of the club.
Unfortunately we will not be racing up to Kawaihae and doing an overnight there this year, Commodore Michaela will have more details in the next few days to clarify the reasons behind the change.
Mandatory Skippers Meeting – Friday 6:15 pm
Joe will be PRO, he needs a helper. If you can help out, please tap here to sign up online.
Start and finish line will be determined at the meeting depending on the number of entrants.
He’ll set a mark off Mahai’ula’s . The course will be start, round the mark to port, finish.
Race should take 5-6 hours depending on conditions.
Festivities follow at the club.
Charge is $15 per boat for the race and $5 per person for dinner. Sign up here to race, pay online, pay at the club, or just to come out for dinner and hang out with everyone. All are welcome!
