As many of you now realize we are moving into the 21st century with a redesigned website which gives you the ability to sign up and pay for most things online.
The final part of the puzzle will be when boat owners can pay for boat parking online which should be up and running by the next billing period in the fall. This will greatly help our long standing treasurer, Gerry, who has to spend countless hours reconciling the books.
I encourage you all to log on and check it out as in the coming months this will be the primary payment/sign up method for all members. You will need to update your password in the system:

by using the email address that you have given the club. If you do not have the original email sent to you by the website system last week, just use the Forgotten Password link and you can reset it that way.
I hope you’ll all join me in sending a huge Mahalo to associate member Kim Stuart for the many, many hours she has devoted to get this all up and running. We are still working out a few small kinks and glitches, so please contact myself or Kim if you experience any problems – webmaster AT konasailingclub.org – is the email address, which will eventually be taken over by one of our on island members to handle the day to day management.
Rear Commodore Alicia has further helped our leap into this century by revamping our racing program and starting sequence to bring us into line with current US Sailing racing rules. We’ve also started using a much more up to date software system for calculating race results, and she will be posting the results online beginning with the Fall Series racing.
Thanks to all the volunteers who showed up on Saturday to get the club looking spic and span for our Summer party on July 14th. Don’t forget to RSVP, preferably online, as this is a catered event and Krisha needs to have the numbers by the 11th. Catered meal starts at 4 pm, so make sure you are off the water and at the club in time to eat.
